Welcome to the SCS Library
The Southern California Seminary Library supports the research and educational needs of Southern California Seminary students, faculty and staff. Knowledgeable librarians and staff work to connect your research needs to the right resources. Their goal to simplify research means providing access to print and online resources through the library catalog and research databases (collections), as well as providing research assistance, interlibrary loan (services), and library instruction (support).
If you have a question about using the library resources come see us during open business hours or send us a note through the Ask-A-Librarian form.

Digital Theological Library
SCS has joined the original Digital Theological Library which is a “co-owned, born-digital library of religious, biblical and theological studies.” DTL is more than a list of databases, rather this is a comprehensive research library in religious studies with more than a 1,000 databases in the collection, including both e-books, journals/articles, streaming video (this also includes content in the Korean language). In addition, DTL 1 supports our Behavioral Sciences program by including the APA databases and Psychotherapy.net (streaming videos).
If you need help searching the library catalog or the DTL, locating materials, or with any other research or reference need, call or email the library.
Research Help
We welcome and encourage any questions you may have about using the library. If you need assistance searching the library catalog or the Library’s research databases, locating materials, or with any other research or reference need, visit with the Library Staff, use the Ask-A-Librarian Form, or call at (619) 201-8966
